Bids are typically done by the square foot with finishes starting around $3.00 per square foot for a simple glaze or color wash. There is an added cost for ceilings and very high walls. Textures and plasters typically fall between $5 and $13 per square foot. In some cases square foot measurements aren’t applicable in which case the bids are based on time plus the cost of materials.

I make sample sheets of your faux finish that are large enough to really get a sense of how the finished wall will look.  I recommend this because each finish looks different depending on the original texture of the wall (orange peel, floated texture, flat etc.)  I do the first 2 samples for each room free of charge and each additional sample sheet thereafter has a $20 charge.

Fresco Finish

This is my most popular treatment.  I’ve spent years perfecting the glaze recipe to get the aged appearance you see in the below photos.  The process not only requires adding paint pigment to the wall, it also involves removing it as well which results in the desired effect.  I custom mix every glaze color to complement the base color of the wall.  The finished result is an aged, plaster effect.  It reminds me of the old Italian fresco finishes…hence the name.
